Well that was quick!
Just 2 months after getting married on June 21, Jill Duggar (now Dillard), 23, and husband Derick Dillard, 25, announced they’re expecting!
In an exclusive interview with People, Jill shared, “We’re having a baby!  We are so excited.”
Apparently Jill took several pregnancy tests that came back negative, but her sisters persuaded her to try one more while she was visiting at her parents house.  That one came back positive.
Derick shared, “It was surreal.  We were shocked.  Both of us are so excited.”
Even though they aren’t due until March, the couple wasted no time sharing their news with the whole family.
Jill’s father, Jim Bob, 49, shared, “About 30 days after Jill and Derick got married they gathered everyone in the living room and shared the news.  Everyone was clapping and cheering, and we were in shock, too.”
Congratulations to Jill and Derick and hopes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Yesterday Taylor Swift announced that her fifth album¬†1989,¬†will be released October 27. ¬†More notable was the announcement that this album will be her “very first official, documented pop album.”

She also shared the first single off the album, “Shake It Off,” as well as the music video to go along with it.

It’s very clear in the sound of the song that she’s full on pop now, but at least she seems to be staying true to her roots of writing what’s on her mind.

Some snippets of lyrics include, “I go on too many dates / But I can’t make them stay / At least that’s what people say.”

In her live stream with Yahoo yesterday, she shared some of the inspiration behind the song, saying, “The idea I came up with…I had to learn a pretty tough lesson in the past couple of years, that people can say anything they want about us at any time and we cannot control it. ¬†You can descend into insanity over it if you want. ¬†Option two is you can just shake it off.”

What a good attitude to have!

The cast of Grey’s Anatomy took on the Ice Bucket Challenge last week to help raise awareness for ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

For left to right, we have James Pickens Jr. (Dr. Richard Webber aka the Chief), Jerrika Hinton (Dr. Stephanie Edwards), Kevin McKidd (Dr. Owen Hunt), Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres), Jesse Williams (Dr. Jackson Avery), Ellen Pompeo (Dr. Meredith Grey), and Jessica Capshaw (Dr. Arizona Robbins).

For those of you who have been living under a rock and have no idea what the Ice Bucket Challenge is, people are challenged to either pour a bucket of ice water over their heads or donate $100 to an ALS charity.  Then they can nominate friends, who have 24 hours to accept the challenge.  The whole phenomenon has raised over $13.3 million for the ALS Association since July 29 (compared with $1.7 million in the same time period last year).

For their part, the cast of Grey’s challenged the casts of the two other Shonda Rhimes helmed shows, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder.

My only question is where was Patrick Dempsey during all of this?!?

Jessa Duggar, 21, and Ben Seewald, 19, announced their engagement on Thursday, after an eleven month courtship.  Duggar is the third daughter of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, who have 19 children and are featured on the hit TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting.
Now that Jessa and Ben are engaged, they are officially allowed to hold hands(!) and will share their first kiss the day they get married.
The news of Jessa’s engagement comes quick on the heels of older sister Jill marrying Derick Dillard.
Congrats to Jessa and Ben, and hopes for a long and happy marriage (and I imagine many children)!

Today marks the two year anniversary of JAK: The Celebrity Source!
It’s hard to believe I’ve already been doing this for two years now!  I’ve managed to amass over 290 followers, over 7800 unique visitors from 104 different countries, and over 2800 unique visitors from the US alone.
I started looking back on what I’ve written about this past year to see what posts were the most popular (out of 454 posts overall), and it was fun to see what everyone enjoyed.
My post about Rebel Wilson and her fearless fashion sense was by far the most popular, with 1725 notes!
Coming in a not so close second, with 393 notes, was a post showing Alyson Hannigan’s daughters sitting in the now iconic How I Met Your Mother booth.
A recent post featuring the very handsome Scott Eastwood’s Hugo Boss campaign also garnered quite a lot of attention with 351 notes.
Another (obviously) popular topic this year was Prince George, because who doesn’t like to see an adorable royal baby?
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped to get my blog to where it is today, whether you’re just an occasional reader or one of my followers!  I couldn’t have done it without your support!
It’s been so exciting to see how far my little celebrity blog has come in two years, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it takes me in the next year!

Robin Williams has died.
The actor, 63, was found dead in his Tiburon, California home this morning.  At this time it is being reported that his death was a suicide.  His rep confirmed the tragic news, saying, “Robin Williams passed away this morning.  He was been been battling severe depression of late.  This is a tragic and sudden loss.  The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Williams’s wife Susan Schneider added, "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings.  I am utterly heartbroken.  On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief.  As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”
Williams first rose to fame in Mork & Mindy in 1978 and quickly became a household name with roles in Good Morning, Vietnam and Dead Poets Society.  He went on to voice Genie in Aladdin and played the title character in Mrs. Doubtfire, endearing him to a younger generation.  Williams later won an Oscar for his supporting role in Good Will Hunting.  Most recently he starred in The Crazy Ones on CBS.
Fox, which will release the third Night at the Museum movie (in which Williams plays Teddy Roosevelt) in December, issued a statement as well.  ”There really are no words to describe the loss of Robin Williams.  He was immensely talented, a cherished member of our community, and part of the Fox family.  Our hearts go out to his family, friends and fans. He will be deeply missed.”
It’s so sad that another amazing actor has left us all too soon.  My thoughts are with his family, friends, and costars during this difficult time.

Maks and Meryl are together again!
Everyone’s (or at least my) favorite Dancing with the Stars couple reunited Saturday, and Maks posted the above photo to share his excitement.  He captioned it, “Got to see this one! Finally! Thanks for breakfast @meryledavis”
I’m definitely still holding out hope that these two are actually a couple!

Prince George, along with mom Kate Middleton and a pal, went for a stroll in the park the other day, and he looked absolutely adorable while doing so.
For some reason, most of the pictures, including the super cute closeups, have more or less disappeared off the internet, probably due to the fact that they were likely unauthorized paparazzi shots.
At least there’s still this one shot where we get to see Prince George in all his bucket hat glory!  Love it!!
